What is the lowest price promise?

At Gala Travels we are confident that we can offer you the lowest prices on International airfares. If you find something cheaper we'd love an opportunity to beat it.

Our Low Fare Guarantee applies to airfares that originate in/depart from Canada quoted in Canadian Dollars.

Gala Travels accepts airfare quotes from other Canadian travel agencies, airlines and Canadian registered businesses and websites.

The airfare must be available and able to be booked by the general public when you bring it to us. Available means that the identical airfare you have received a quote for is currently for sale and able to be booked in the same booking class, for the same number of passengers, on the same date and at the same time. Fares that are not meant for the general public are excluded.

The price beat applies only for travel on the same dates and flights.

The onus is on the customer to request a Low Fare Guarantee. Your airfare quote must be in writing and must be presented to us prior to booking. It does not apply to written quotes presented after booking.

The quote must reflect the number of passengers looking to book as per the quote. Of course, if we can book more passengers at the same low price we'll do so.

Gala Travels will only price beat where your quote is presented to us prior to booking.

Once I purchase a ticket when can I expect to receive it?

If I purchase an e-ticket what do I get as proof of that purchase?

You will receive an E-Ticket for each traveller by email which is proof of purchase. You should present this at check-in with your valid travel documents/passport.

How do I use an e-ticket?

When you make a booking with Gala Travels you’ll automatically receive a confirmation. Your e-ticket/s with your ticket numbers will be issued within one business day after your booking has been quality checked.

Once you have your e-ticket/s print them and present them at check-in along with your valid travel documents/passports.

When do I need to check in for my flight?

For domestic flights at least 1.5 hours prior to departure. For international flights, at least 3 hours prior to departure. We urge you to call the airlines prior to departure to ensure your flights are on time. Please note these are just recommended times and you should allow yourself ample time during peak times and days with adverse weather conditions.

If my flight is operated by another airline who do I check in with?

What documents are needed to pass through airport security?

You will need your boarding pass which will be issued to you by the airline check-in staff on the day of departure and your valid travel documents/passport.
